Refund policy
Return & Refund Policy Last updated: May 19, 2026
1. All Sales Are Final All purchases from Remnant Brand are final by default. We do not accept returns or issue refunds unless explicitly approved in writing. This applies to:
- Linux bootable USB drives and DVDs
- Digital products and services (including RemGuard™)
- 3D-printed accessories and custom orders
- Refurbished tech and electronics
- Any sealed product once opened
2. Eligible Physical Products — Return Requests Certain physical products (e.g., Raspberry Pi cases, desk organizers, refurbished tech) may be considered for return if all of the following conditions are met:
- The request is submitted within 7 days of delivery
- The item is unused, in its original condition, and in original packaging
- Written approval is received from us before shipping anything back
To initiate a request, email support@remnantbrand.org with your order number and reason for return. Do not ship items back without prior written approval.
If approved:
- Ship to the address provided in your approval email
- Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item is defective or incorrect
- A 10% restocking fee applies to all approved returns of refurbished tech
- All original accessories, cables, and packaging must be included
3. Defective or Incorrect Items If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at support@remnantbrand.org within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos or video of the issue. Resolution may include a replacement, partial refund, or troubleshooting support at our discretion.
Note: This does not apply to digital products, software, or Linux bootable media, which remain final sale regardless of circumstance.
4. Refurbished Tech — Additional Terms All refurbished electronics sold by Remnant Brand are tested and verified functional prior to shipment. Refurbished items are sold in "as-is" condition unless otherwise stated in the product listing. Cosmetic wear (scratches, scuffs, discoloration) is expected and is not grounds for a return or refund. Functional defects reported within 14 days of delivery will be evaluated under Section 3.
5. Refunds for Approved Returns Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item. Processing times may vary by financial institution.
6. RemGuard™ — No Refunds RemGuard™ is a digital service and is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellation, dissatisfaction with results, or inaccurate form submissions. The service cannot be returned once purchased.
7. Case-by-Case Exceptions Remnant Brand reserves the sole right to approve exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Any exception will be confirmed explicitly in writing.
